Here is the information about the WORKSHOPS.
The LOCATION: The old BATHING PAVILION on the Gold Coast Highway near the BAIT & TACKLE SHOP opposite Railways Street SOUTHPORT. Click here for Map.
The Pavilion has been tastefully renovated. It is only used for meetings and events of a nature similar to these workshops. It is not used for bathing purposes any more.

The address is: Gold Coast Highway, Marine Parade, Southport 4215.
From Brisbane, take the Smith St exit 66 and follow it all the way to Gold Coast Highway, Marine Parade. Smith Street becomes North Street as you follow it along. When you get to the T-intersection at the Highway, turn Right and you’re there! Immediately on your left is the BAIT & TACKLE SHOP. You can park briefly at the shop - or you may continue on past it and enter at the traffic lights at NIND STREET. The pavilion is under a big FIG TREE.

WORKSHOP 11AM
This Month’s host is Tim Loydell. Tim plays a new finger-style of tapping blended with traditional strumming styles. Based in Brisbane, Tim is the lead singer and principal songwriter with THE DECKCHAIRS. An innovative musician and emotive lyricist, Tim will focus mostly on guitar technique and songwriting with an overview from the perspective of the Australian music community.

Tim will also perform live – on The Porch Stage – at 3pm!
